Apple scripts within Qlab can do simple functions such as count numbers or more complex tasks such as running entire Multiple Choice Quizzes

This simple piece of script counts the amount of button presses (from whatever trigger you wish from QLab) then displays this information via a title cue. This can then be used to trigger events at specific numbers.

Demo Of How The Button Counter Works

This more complicated group of scripts is able to take a .txt file formatted in a particular way and convert it to a multiple choice quiz. Complete with buzzer activation, answer confirmation and checking if answers are correct the script allows you a automated graphical display of questions

The most complicated Apple Script task I have undertaken to date, this script takes a google calendar and displays the events on screen in real-time allowing for showing canceled events and whats next. More information can be found on its independent project page.
